Getting ready for tile

Tad cements in the drain for the shower in the studio bathroom. He stopped by today for a couple of small jobs before turning over the space to Neil Jones of Superior Interiors.

Tad is packing up his truck with supplies and equipment from our job site. The room must be cleared at the floor level to allow the tilers space to put down the new floor.

Neil is putting down the under layer of plastisized felt to build the shower base. He has already nailed cement board to the interior shower walls. He has been in this country for 20 years from Wales and has built a successful business.

A look at the timbers and ceiling after final oiling with a linseed oil product with additives. We are very pleased with the results. We like wood!

Hi Aunt and Uncle!

Dad sent me the link - I think the studio will be amazing! I also love the pictures of Suki, she's a gorgeous Siamese, and it's good to see Fella! The garden looks beautiful, too. Thanks so much for putting the pictures up - it's great fun to pop in and see you!

Love, Chandra
