Framing - part 2

The interior wall framing continues. The "office" corner continues to take shape with further definition. The inscription of the date is a timber frame tradition in the hope and faith that the structure will last decades, if not hundreds of years.

The west wall is fully framed. The high point here will be 16 feet from the floor, and most of the wall will become the primary design area.
The north wall area gets its coating of "pink." This entire expanse will be enclosed with closets covered with sliding doors on a rail. We are excited about the final look of this area.

The connecting addition to the existing house takes shape. The shorter wall section will be the south wall of the new bathroom with its window opening in place.
