Pittsburgh Day 1

Four of us went to Pittsburgh to see the Fiberart International 2007 show. We arrived after an easy drive of about 300 miles. We saw part of the show at the Society for Contemporary Craft and then came here, to the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for the rest of the show.

Eleanor McCain's "Black Brown 3" was in the show.

"Rag Fields" by Andrea Miller was constructed from found fabrics, cotton rags (some with ink stains), and other fibers.

After dinner with my friend, Petra Fallaux, she took us up Mt. Washington so that we could see the view of the city lights at night -- Beautiful!!
