Finishing Day 21

Dave Koeberle and Bill clean up some rocks and other material left over in the construction driveway. The filling/leveling process went smoothly with one exception....

The faithful old tractor suffered a flat front right tire. Attempts to reinflate it failed, and we will take it for repair on Monday. Heavy loads of gravel in the large bucket proved to be too much for the old Ford to handle.

Dave did a good job in smoothing out where the temporary driveway had been. He has been doing it for a few years now and is skillful and accomplished. We will replant with a hydra seed application and hope for rain!

Ken Morrison, a local contractor who has done a lot of work for us, delivers a load of screened top soil (black gold!). Dave will spread this in the back of the house (or the front of the new studio). We will let the new soil settle all around the new addition, and Dave will do some landscaping in the fall.
