Sewing Day with Priscilla

Priscilla showed us some "confetti" fabric that she's making for possible incorporation into a future garment. These are 1/4-inch squares butted together and embellished with gold thread. As you can imagine, even the smallest piece takes well over an hour to make.

This is a wonderful Miao embroidery that she brought from China.
The embroidered piece, along with these strips of embroidered pieces from Beijing, are being considered for a jacket.

Today, though, she's concentrating on her new "Cow" jacket, which is very appropriate for living here in the Wayne County area. Our favorite fabric is in the top right corner -- "Cows on vacation."
