Jacket Update from RAFA

At the regular monthly meeting of RAFA (Rochester Area Fiber Artists) we saw some of the jackets that were started in Priscilla's recent class at our studio.

Priscilla started by showing her "ice cream" jacket, with the mola on the back of the pelican serving an ice cream cone. It is now called the "desert" jacket due to the fabrics which include cakes and pies.

Janet finished the jacket she started in class and says she's saving it to wear on somber occasions!

Janet went right on and made another jacket since the last class! I'm sorry the picture is blurred and doesn't do the wonderful fabric choices justice. We like the shape of this jacket and also like having pockets.

Varda modeled her almost completed jacket with the wonderful textured fabrics. (Varda officially joined the RAFA group today.)

Liz and Donna also showed us their in-process jackets, but we didn't get their pictures.
