Installing the thermal pad

What a wonderful job to be the stone "slinger" and imagine one's self holding off hordes of savages attacking the homestead. Every boy's dream!

The backhoe begins the search for a connecting spot in the existing septic system. A new pipe spur will lead to the new bathroom.

The horses in the pasture next to the construction seem to take the noise and movement placidly. At least one snoozes while the other munches (sort of on guard!).
The rough plumbing continues in front of the reinforced northwall. Dirt has been filled in all around the perimeter of the new structure.

Late afternoon finds the thermal heat pad and wire reinforcing mesh fully applied. Tomorrow the radiant heating coils will be installed.
