Sewing Day

Priscilla and Beth were at the studio today for a sewing day. Priscilla worked some more on the "orange" jacket that has morphed into a black jacket with molas.

The back of the jacket is going to have two molas. The dancers in the mola at the bottom have been beaded, so now the kitty cats will get some matching beading too.

Beth is getting ready for a workshop in September with Ruth McDowell, which involves making one of the projects from Ruth's book for practice. She worked on the templates for the waterlilly quilt.

Beth also worked on finishing her bog coat that she made from her own hand-dyed rayon/linen fabric. She added a strip of Hmong embroidery that Priscilla brought.
