SAQA NY meeting

We had a meeting of SA

QA (Studio Art Quilt Association) members in Rochester, NY, and had a lovely lunch at the Gate House.

In addition to members from the Rochester area, we had people from Buffalo, Syracuse, Ithaca, and the surrounding areas.

Our new SAQA Co-Reps are Jeanne Simpson and Pat Pauly, and they did a great job organizing our meeting.

Here's Jeanne, explaining the functions and benefits of SAQA membership.

And here's Pat, telling us about the Parallax exhibit and the Fiber Arts International exhibit that we'll tour after lunch.

Liz Anderson started off the introductions, where we each had two minutes to introduce ourselves and talk a little about the work we do. Jeanne kept the timer, and only had to beep a couple of us!

Several people brought some Show & Tell so that we could see a sample of their work.

It was a great session, and we're looking forward to the next meeting!
