Mohawk Valley Quilt Club

I had the opportunity to travel with Pat Pauly to the Utica, NY, area for her presentation to the Mohawk Valley Quilt Club.  We enjoyed meeting and gettting to know several of the Club members at dinner at Carmello's before the meeting.

Pat (in the lower left corner of the picture) and I joined the members of the Club for their regular business meeting and Show & Tell.

President Rose Degni ran the meeting, and you can see several of the items on the railing behind her that were made by members and brought in for Show & Tell.

Pat gave her usual excellent lecture, describing traditional to contemporary quilting with over 400 slides and also showing many of her quilts.  Here several Club members are getting a chance to see the quilts up close and talk with Pat.

Pat also brought some of her hand-dyed and shibori fabrics.  Claudia Visalli (in the orange sweater on the right) is the Club's Program Chairman and was our wonderful hostess for the evening.
