Studio Visitors

Nancy Hicks returned recently from a wonderful two-week trip to Japan, where she toured, took textile workshops, and spent time with friends.

She purchased this reversible hand-sewn cathedral-windows quilt. This is the back side.

Nancy made this piece of shibori fabric that she is showing to the group.  The other visitors from the left are Bev Kondolf, Jeanne Simpson, Liz Anderson, Pat Pauly and Priscilla Kibbee.

You can see the front of Nancy's quilt in the background.

Here's a detail view of her quilt.

One of the other things that Nancy brought back is this vest/top.  It is literally a rectangular piece of fabric, that has the two arm holes cut from it.  --super simple and very clever!
