Going to AQS Paducah

Two of my quilts have been juried into the American Quilter's Society's 26th annual Show and Contest which will be held in Paducah, KY, April 21-24, 2010.  They will be judged along with the 385 other quilts which were selected for the show.

This quilt is "Broken Squares" and was made with hand-dyed, discharged and commercial cotton fabrics.   It is 56h X 48w.

It was at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Fest in Hampton, VA, in February, where it won a Best Use of Color award.

This quilt is "Doormats I" which was inspired by the doormats sold at the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center Gift Shop.  It is 49h X 67w.
