Almighty Dollar on display

It was time to hang the exhibit organized by Pat Pauly -- "The Almighty Dollar, Art Quilts Inspired by the Dollar Bill." The exhibit will be in the Lower Link Gallery at the Central Library of Rochester (115 South Avenue) from March 24 to April 30. The exhibit and all events are open to the public at no charge: lectures at 7 pm on April 12 and April 19, and the opening reception on April 15 from 5 to 8 pm.

Bev Kondolf was in charge of leveling the quilts as they were hung. This quilt is by Linda Bachman.

Jeanne Simpson helped Pat with leveling and hanging the artist statements for each quilt. They are working on my "All Seeing Eyes" quilt, and Pat's quilt is to the left.

Here are a couple of the quilts in the first hallway. Bev's quilt is on the right and Caren Betlinski's is on the left.

The quilt on the right is by Jeanne Simpson, and the one on the left is by Liz Anderson.
