Studio Visitors

Beth Brandkamp and Priscilla Kibbee came to the studio today to make use of the design walls and work on their quilts

. There was much consultation, with a break for lunch, along with a trip to the local quilt store for some more "much needed" fabric.

Beth organized her "Dear Jane" blocks

on the wall. All the blocks were made with vintage fabrics (some with as many as 100 pieces) and will be sewn together with muslin sashing. She has already added a colored border around each block.

Priscilla showed us her completed quilt -- already for quilting...

And then Priscilla worked on arranging these blocks that she had sewn a few years ago. The white dots are not part of quilt, but are the numbers for the block placements.
