Modern Quilt Club meeting

The Modern Quilt Club in Marcellus invited me to present a trunk show at their meeting at the Patchwork Plus Quilt Shop.

Getting ready the day before involves taking the quilts off their rolls and organizing them in five big boxes in the order I want to present them.

My hostess, May Arnett, took this picture of me with my "Seaweed" quilt.

I enjoyed spending the afternoon with the Club members and guests - a very warm and friendly group!

After my presentation, I left my quilts on the front ables for people to look at more closely.

The meeting then included the members' Show and Tell.  This is Ron Stefanak, who is a quilter and pattern designer.  The quilt on the wall behind him is one of his that he offers a class on at the quilt shop.

May Arnett, on the right, showed this quilt that she made for her grandson.  He picked out the fabrics and helped plan the block sizes.

Here are some views of the inside of the store.  Doesn't this spot by the fireplace look cozy?
