On the fence

Our "almost" resident cats are both good hunters.  They love to get some elevation as they search for movement on the ground.

Here, our feral cat Millie moves along a one-inch rail as she changes perspective.

She now routinely lets Marcia groom her when she's feeding, and she follows us around on any outdoor projects -- real progress!

Our next-door cat mimics the same behavior.  He appears at our back door for three meals daily and is ready to move in at any time.  His original owner is deceased, and we feel sorry for him.

"Mr. Bootsie" is a good old guy and is a true tuxedo cat in markings.  He spends most of his time on our deck or in the horse barn.

Yay for Millie!
Mr. Bootsie looks like a really nice boy too.

It sure took a long time for her to learn to trust you.

It's only been 2 1/2 years! I can only touch her when she's eating, but I keep working at it....
