Millie's pergola

We continue to watch with interest our feral cat, Millie, and her contacts with humans.

(Can you see her sitting in the middle of the clematis on the roof?)

When any of us are working in the gardens, she tends to "hang" near, often elevating her perch to watch us and any impending trouble.

Here she is on the move across the roof of the garden pergola, some eight feet above the ground.

We are impressed by the fact that she is always "on guard" and stands ready to move quickly.

Her sharp claws enable her to ascend and descend with some fancy footwork.  She will scamper away upon reaching the ground.

We wonder if she will ever trust human contact.  Never the less, we enjoy her presence and are pleased to care for her.
