Over the years we have processed many batches of jam using various berries.
The increasing deer population has decimated our purple raspberry bushes while leaving the red ones relatively unscathed.
We will miss the flavor and color of these favorite purple berries, as this is the last of the juice from our supply in the freezer.
The finished product will enhance our toast and add a perfect touch to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
In the future we have to sample the purple raspberries from some of the local farm markets. Hope it is as good!
